Associate Pastor and Elder Cliff Black is a native of St. Joseph and has been attending King Hill Baptist Church his entire life. Cliff committed his life to Christ in 1969. Cliff's wife Carole is also a native of St. Joseph. They have been married 18 years and have three children: Becky, a sophomore at Central; and twins Page and Paul, who are in the Seventh Grade at Bode. Cliff attended college in Kansas City and Columbia Missouri. He and his wife have a business in Savannah, Missouri.

Cliff spends most of his time driving his children around town, caring for his vegetables and flowers and a white Maltese, Chloe. He attempts to maintain a regular schedule of walking. Cliff enjoys watching his children's sporting events and making one-of-a-kind birthday cakes for friends and family. He is a newly converted country music fan and especially likes the songs of Alan Jackson.

Cliff is presently reading The Emotionally Healthy Church by Peter Scazzero and in the near future hopes to present a class on 'The Power of Praying Parents.'
