 Through a generous grant from the Feinstein Foundation, your gifts to the hungry and those who are financially struggling can be DOUBLED during the months of March & April. Every dollar you donate by cash or check to the KHBC food pantry will be matched by the Foundation. Every non-perishable food item will be matched at the rate of either $1 per item or $1 per pound. We MUST have an exact record of what you give in order to receive the matching funds, so please give generously and make sure we have a record of your gift.
Remember, gifts to the food pantry are deductible at both the Federal and State level if you itemize when filing your taxes. What's more, gifts to food pantries registered in the state of Missouri, such as ours, are deductible at the rate of 50 per cent - so your generosity comes back to bless you in more ways than one!
