Is your marriage on the rocks? Are you going through a divorce? You probably never imagined it would happen to you. There are few things as painful as the tearing apart of so intimate a relationship as a marriage. But you are not alone.

In the Bible we read that divorce is not God's will. But neither is it God's will that his children be forever stuck in the past, trapped by grief and loss. There is a way to receive healing from the pain, to objectively learn from your own mistakes, and to move forward into the future God has for you. Whether your marriage ended a long time back or you're newly divorced, this is for you.

"Fresh Start" is KHBC's newest Life Group, one that is specifically geared toward divorce recovery. Headed up by our worship minister and his wife - both of whom have personally experienced what you're going through - Fresh Start will meet on Wednesday nights at 6 p.m. beginning September 8th. No matter what you've been through, remember, Jesus came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captive free (Isaiah 61.1). That includes you!

"Rounding up questions, driving home answers" is the theme of this year's VBS, focusing on God's wisdom found in the book of Proverbs. If you'd like to help young 'uns get wise (and perhaps learn a few things yourself), then ride with us!

We could use your help in setting up for VBS on Wednesday nights July 14th & 21st from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Dinner will be provided. Just show up to help on those nights.
