Prayer Ministry

God wants you to experience the power of prayer!

Join with us here at KHBC as we meet with the Lord on Wednesday evenings, the first & third Saturday mornings of the month, and weekday mornings in the prayer room. Our prayer ministry includes (1) praying for the personal requests submitted by people in the congregation, (2) praying for national, state, and local leaders, (3) praying for those in the hospital or under other treatment, (4) interceding for people to come to know Christ, (5) praying for missionaries, (6) receiving telephone calls from anyone from the church or community, and (7) writing notes to any who might need a word of encouragement.

The Prayer Room is staffed by volunteers from 9:00 to 10:30 am, Monday through Friday. If you have a prayer request call the Prayer Line at 816-238-3756 or let us know by email.

Library

The church library has books, audio tapes, CDs, and DVDs that are availble for our church members to check out. The Library is open Sunday mornings from 9:00-10:15 A.M.

Children's Ministry

Our Children's Ministry at King Hill Baptist offers many opportunities for kids 1st-6th grade to learn more about God. Time Zone (Sunday mornings at 9:00 A.M.) and TeamKID (Wednesday evenings at 6:00 P.M.) are designed to be both fun and educational, with a variety of hands-on activities, skits, and more. Youth Ministry

Our Youth Group (grades 7-12) is an energetic, intelligent, and fun-loving crowd. Our Youth Pastor (who also happens to be our Worship Leader) has created a separate site, KingHillStudents.org, for the young adults of KHBC, where they can check info, see photos, and watch videos.Back to Top

Men's Ministry

King Hill Baptist Church offers bible studies and events that build and edify men in the church. Events include Super Bowl Party, attending Promise Keepers conferences and more. Outside the walls of KHBC, they work on service projects in the community from time to time. The Deacons conduct quarterly chapel services for the residents of a local nursing home.

Women's Ministry

The Women's Ministry at King Hill Baptist offers studies and events that bring women together for fellowship and spiritual growth. Events include attending Women of Faith conferences, Beth Moore conferences, Bible studies, Christmas Brunch and more!Back to Top

WMU

WMU is short for Women's Missionary Union. As the name suggests, our local chapter of this nationwide organization is made up of a group of faithful ladies who are doing their part to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ around the world. They meet the first Tuesday of the month at 10:00am in the fellowship hall.

Missions

Missions is a very important part of our church history at King Hill Baptist. We support missions efforts from our own community to around the world. This includes our members serving at the Valley Community Center Soup Kitchen monthly, providing food assistance with our Food Pantry, giving to Missouri, North American, and International Mission Boards of the Southern Baptist Convention.
