Please drop off your contributions at the designated tables around the building when you come on Sundays and Wednesdays, or bring them by the church office during regular office hours. All items will go to the community families who utilize our food pantry.

\'Bienvenidos\' means \'welcome\' in Spanish, and we are about to welcome a new congregation to St. Joe! On Sunday, January 25th, the Spanish-language church plant jointly sponsored by Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church and King Hill Baptist Church has it first official gathering. We\'re kicking things off with music, games, and food at 2:30 that afternoon.

\ ");document.write("The weekend beforehand we\'ll be out prayerwalking (or prayer-driving) in neighborhoods identified as having Hispanic residents. Please join us if at all possible. We\'ll meet in the parlor (lower level) at 2 p.m. on Saturday the 17th before heading out to the streets.

Lift up Pastor Ben and his wife Christine, the small group of believers who will comprise the core of this new church plant, and the Spanish-speaking community of St. Joe. Brand New Year, Same Old War

Everyone hopes 2009 will be a happy new year, but will it? As optimistic as we may be, the reality is we have many challenges ahead. Join us as Pastor Keith begins the year with a new sermon series that challenges us to \"fight the good fight\" of faith (1 Timothy 6.12). Whatever the future may hold, we can be bold and confident that our well being is secure in Christ.

You are invited to join with the KHBC community during a year-long period of prayer and fasting to seek God\'s will. In a general way we\'ve come to understand His vision for us as a church, but we want to know His means and timetable. Won\'t you seek Him with us? Cards, cards, and more cards

Christmas is over for another year, but there are still Christmas cards that haven\'t been picked up. There may be some for YOU! Cards - and 2009 offering envelopes - that have yet to be picked up are on a table in the west foyer entrance to the sanctuary.
